¡Qué alegría ver crecer este proyecto internacional en torno al arte, la naturaleza y la imaginación!
Con la primera presentación inicia esta aventura de arte que sigue creciendo. Hoy, nuevas obras se transforman en mariposas de papel: cada una conserva la huella de su artista y, al mismo tiempo, emprende un nuevo vuelo desde mi mirada artística y curatorial.
Las imágenes que comparto nos acercan a tres momentos de esta experiencia:
el primer montaje

¡Cada transformación abre nuevas posibilidades de encuentro entre arte, naturaleza y público!
✨ Hacia el final de la primavera, un tercer y último vuelo de la temporada en Lima llegará con condiciones de participación acordes con la evolución del proyecto y el trabajo creativo y curatorial desarrollado.

La contribución sugerida es de 20 dólares o 20 euros por obra, destinada a apoyar los procesos creativos y la realización de la instalación.

A conversation with the artists
Every butterfly begins with an artwork and a curatorial encounter. Through my selection and interpretation of each artist’s work, I create a new artistic intervention: a paper cut-out butterfly that opens another way of experiencing the original work.
This process brings together the artist’s vision, my own creative practice as an artist and curator, and the imagination of the person who may eventually choose the butterfly and take it along on its journey.
Like life itself, art transforms as it moves between people and places. Each butterfly carries traces of these encounters, while its journey remains open to new meanings and possibilities.
Through these three questions, I invite the participating artists to share their creative worlds and reflect on the journey their work begins through Painted Ladies Are Coming to Lima.
