Art Heals International Magazine proudly presents Rebeca Dorich, a multidisciplinary artist from Peru whose soulful creations bridge the worlds of art, well-being, and spiritual exploration. With a profound commitment to integrating artistic languages as pathways to healing, Rebeca’s work stands as a gentle invitation to reconnect with one’s inner landscape.
Rebeca studied Art in Lima and holds a BA in History of Art from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, complemented by extensive training in Art Therapy at San Lucas Art Therapy Center and the IPMT-Goetheanum in Switzerland. She further pursued postgraduate studies in Education through Arts (URP–ESFJMA) and refined her visual arts practice at the National School of Fine Arts of Peru. This rich educational background shapes her unique approach—one where creativity, introspection, and emotional resonance intertwine.
Her artistic practice is multifaceted, often giving form to emotions and illuminating epiphanies rooted in the spiritual realm. Beyond her personal studio work, Rebeca is dedicated to community engagement. Through Sidera, art projects, she curates participatory experiences and exhibitions, nurturing art as a collective vehicle for reflection and healing.
WITH YOU: Art Intervention Outlines — A Project for Healing Through Creation
In her latest project, WITH YOU, Rebeca reimagines elements from her own paintings, collages, and cut-outs into a series of therapeutic outlines designed to inspire self-expression and emotional restoration. These interactive works are both visually captivating and deeply intentional, each carrying a specific thematic focus to guide inner work:
1. With You – The Little Girl and the Fish:
Rooted in water symbolism, this piece evokes safety, care, and the primordial comfort of emotional connection—a tender safe-space for grounding.
2. Balance – Inspired by “Chala”:
Reflections through a symbolic natural mirror invite the viewer to contemplate harmony, stability, and the equilibrium between inner and outer worlds.
3. Self-Discovery – Organic & Abstract Patterns:
A playground of shapes encourages coloring, exploration, and the unveiling of personal patterns—an open door to intuitive self-expression.
4. Transformation – From “The Journey”:
Minimal, fluid lines offer a spacious moment of clarity. This outline encourages focus, synthesis, and the illumination of one’s path toward renewal.
These outlines may be paired with Rebeca’s short guided art therapy exercises or used intuitively, offering a flexible and nurturing space for emotional growth.
