Snježana Mayer 🇭🇷

My name is Snježana Mayer (born in 1963). I graduated in painting and graphic design from The School of Fine Arts in Split in 1981. 

My journey in the arts began with restoration work at the Croatian National Theatre in Split in 1979. Since then, I have actively participated in numerous group exhibitions and have had the privilege of showcasing my work in three solo exhibitions. Currently, I am preparing for an upcoming exhibition scheduled to take place at the Trogir Town Museum. Under monitoring from the Department of Conservation in Trogir, I specialize in creating paintings for Catholic churches. Separately I am creating and customizing paintings to meet the specific preferences of clients and using a variety of techniques. Over the years, I have also contributed to several projects commissioned by the city of Trogir. I'm offering my expertise in interior design and enhancing the visual identities of businesses through graphic design. On special requests of interested clients I make murals and graffiti. As someone deeply passionate about preserving our cultural heritage, I am involved in multiple associations dedicated to this cause. Society for the protection of cultural assets “Radovan¨ - Trogir, A branch of the Croatian Motherland in Trogir. Also I am a member of Trogir Art Association and I serve as a tutor for workshops aimed at children aged 6 to 15, where I impart knowledge of diverse art techniques through hands-on activities and engaging discussions. I am member of IAC - International Art Caravan (Islamabad – Pakistan), I am a member of Artcom Expo International Association of Artist (Davik Norway). I am a member of UNOTA - United Nations of Artist and Scientist (Paris – France). However, above all, I consider myself a street painter. Most days, you can find me in front of the Trogir Town Museum, where I am inspired by the diverse interactions with people from around the globe. These encounters fill me with joy and provide mutual learning experiences, enriching both my art and my understanding of the world. Art is not merely a vocation for me - it is my life's passion, my mission, and the essence of my existence. It is through creation that I find fulfillment and purpose. Choosing to be alone with my notebook, I dream a better world with the images in my head - original paintings that remain stored forever between me and the universe.

Mi nombre es Snježana Mayer (nacida en 1963). Me gradué en pintura y diseño gráfico en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Split en 1981.  Mi trayectoria artística comenzó con un trabajo de restauración en el Teatro Nacional de Croacia en Split en 1979. Desde entonces, he participado activamente en numerosas exposiciones colectivas y he tenido el privilegio de mostrar mi trabajo en cuatro exposiciones individuales. A lo largo de los años, también he contribuido a varios proyectos encargados por la ciudad de Trogir. Como alguien profundamente apasionado por la preservación de nuestro patrimonio cultural, participo en múltiples asociaciones dedicadas a esta causa. Sociedad para la protección de los bienes culturales “Radovan¨ - Trogir, filial de la Patria Croata en Trogir. También soy miembro de la Asociación de Arte de Trogir y actúo como tutor de talleres dirigidos a niños de 6 a 15 años, donde imparto conocimientos de diversas técnicas artísticas a través de actividades prácticas y debates interesantes.
